The American Red Cross Lifeguarding Recertification course is designed to refresh your knowledge and skills. Upon successful completion, participants will renew your certification for another two years.
*IMPORTANT INFO – To participate in the Lifeguard Recertification class you must have a current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification, and certification expired by no more than 30 days.
Minimum number of participants required: 5
Maximum number of participants: 10
Training Requirements
- Demonstrate competency in all required skills
- Must be 15 years of age by the last class day
- Must be able to complete the prerequisite skills
- Must attend the entire course & participate in all class sessions without exception
- Successfully complete all final skills scenarios and a written exam
- Must have a current ARC Lifeguard certification.
- Certification must not be expired more than 30 days


In-Person Training
Saturday, May 17
10:00am – 7:30pm
- All participants will need to complete 100% of the online training prior to coming class. Failure to complete the online training in full will result in an incomplete and no refund will be issued to the participant.
- Recertification training is not designed to retrain individuals on what they have already learned. Participants must come to class able to perform 100% of the skills.
